  4. Debian will not ship patches to support devices not supported by
  5. upstream. If you think that your device should be supported by
  6. usb-modeswitch-data, please report it on the upstream forum:

  10. Please do so, for two reasons:

  12. a) upstream is nice and responsive: new tarballs appear frequently,
  13. b) a device supported upstream benefits the whole community, not
  14.    only Debian.
